Relationship test
A couple. For months one of them had been answering the same question at the kitchen table, and booked the test to answer it once, properly. They came in together on a weekday morning; the partner under suspicion was tested alone, on a single issue, with the questions agreed word for word in the pre-test interview, while the other waited in reception. Three charts. No deception indicated, explained to them both before they left the building, with the report in their inbox the next day. Her verdict on the way out: the waiting was worse than the test.
Theft investigation
A family-run shop on a high street, where the till had been short for weeks and three people had keys. One of them asked to be tested, because suspicion had settled on her and she wanted it lifted. Examinations at Paddington Central are conducted by examiners trained to police standards in interviewing before qualifying in polygraph. They have run hundreds of private and corporate examinations and they bring the same unhurried, non-judgemental approach to every client who walks in.

Pre-Test Interview
The examination begins with a conversation, not sensors. Your examiner spends the first part of the appointment with you agreeing the precise questions to be tested, because well built questions are what make the result unarguable.
The Examination
The whole appointment takes around 90 minutes, so allow two hours. During the examination itself, sensors track breathing, cardiovascular activity and skin response while you answer a short series of yes or no questions, each one already agreed with you.
Results
Before you step back out into Paddington you know the preliminary result. The full written report, charts included, is with you inside 24 hours.

Our Paddington office
We test in one office in London. This is what you need to know before you come.
Where it is
One Kingdom Street, Paddington Central, London W2 6BD. From Paddington station take the exit next to the Circle and District line exit; the office is a short walk from there. It is a serviced office building with a reception, and it is our only London office.
Arriving
Come to reception and say what your confirmation email tells you to say. If someone has come with you, they can wait in reception. During the test itself, nobody other than you and the examiner is in the room.
By rail and tube
Paddington is served by the Elizabeth line, the Bakerloo, Circle and District lines, GWR services and the Heathrow Express. If you are flying in, the Heathrow Express brings you to Paddington and the office is a short walk from the station. Train or tube is the way we would suggest.
Driving and parking
Paddington Central is outside the central London Congestion Charge zone. The ULEZ covers the whole of Greater London, so check your vehicle before you set off. The best parking is the APCOA Paddington Station Car Park, which is paid. If you have the choice, the train is simpler.
Hours. Tests run Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. If you require an evening or weekend test, our sister service Home Polygraph tests at your home seven days a week.
